intercooler questions

Re: intercooler questions
LSD offers two types of cores in our intercoolers, Tube and Fin and Bar and Plate. While tube and fin intercoolers are light and good at exchanging heat, they don't have as much thermal mass. Bar and plate construction has a higher fin density and a greater mass so it acts like a heat sink and soaks up heat more efficiently at lower air speeds, releasing it to the air stream once air speed increases. They weigh more but are better at exchanging heat. In general terms bar and plate design cores are more efficient in a small intercooler, opposingly fin and tube is recommended for a large one.
That's the article i was refering to. found on LSD's site
doesn't say which is gonna be better in the end, only what's better for smaller or bigger space... which is kinda what my question is, but i'm wondering about personal opnion, what's better for higher-ish boost,
mostly high RPM'S ...blah blah blah
