Intercooler Pipes

Hello all,
I was wondering if it is possible to use the existing piping from my cold air intake for plumbing for an intercooler. i am not sure how much psi it can hold, but i will only be running 5 lbs. of boost. And also, is there a certain type of tubing connector to use for a turbo ar can i just use regular connectors?

Re:Intercooler Pipes

the piping is 2.25". Would that be too big to use?

2 1/4 ain't bad but when i used it lag went up! really depends on what turbo you're usiing and how much boost. lower boost use 2", works well with smaller turbos. larger like 14b's should use2 1/4 because of capability.
happy boosting! ;D
