intercooler in a new yorker or not

hey i have searched the internet trying to find out if the 84-87 chrysler new yorkers were intercooled.....i cant find any info on it. yesterday i picked up a turbo out of one for 30 bucks cdn for my 85 celica gt-s....it spins fine and there is no freeplay...i grabbed with it the bov and all the lines and ----. I thought i noticed an intercooler in front of the rad but i didnt take a closer look. Does anyone know if they are cuz its 30 below here and i dont feel like freezing my ass off and going to check.

thanks

I yanked a turbo setup from a New Yorker once, and I didn't see an intercooler anywhere. The thing you saw was probably the A/C condenser. They may have been some that were intercooled, but I doubt it. With it being a "luxury" car and all, it probably didn't push all too much power, and didn't need one.

Probably also why they went out so often. :(
