Re:Intercooler
ok cool.
what's the question here? |
Re:Intercooler
lol no question. I know its weird. :-X
|
Re:Intercooler
sorry , actually my question was do i have to run hard pipe for the intercooler or for temporary use like that 200 psi capable heater hose ?
|
Re:Intercooler
ah yes, the intercooler pipings... those SOB's were a bitch because if u dont measure correctly its a pain in the ass to put the bumper back on. I'm still going to redo mine and figure out why my fucken car hit boost until 4k and full boost until 7.5k-- I think its my stock exhaust, but shiet What do I know....
One question relating to intercooler, how much of a PSI drop should one expect to see--before the intercooler and after the intercooler? |
Re:Intercooler
Do it right the first time man, get the hard pipes installed.. Mild steel is cheap. Got a welder? Goto town. If you don't have a welder, you could mock the ---- up with pvc and take your mock up to the exhaust shop and have them create what you're after. I would only trust that hose for coupling the ---- together, remember it will expand and bend and ---- if you're using it all by itself.
Good luck. |
Re:Intercooler
Go to napa and get 3 inch Chevy 350 radiator hose it works miracles.

Look around at the IC manufactures websites, they normally give you a test reading about what the expectancy is.. I would say an average of 1-2 psi.. you can always get the ---- flow checked at a machine shop to see. This really depends on size and condition, a variable question ya see. |
