Intake manifold affect on spool time?
I don't see why having a better flowing intake manifold would help spool time, but I am trying to justify spending 200 bucks on a skunk2 intake mani for my b16 boost project :) Just curious here...

Re:Intake manifold affect on spool time?
spend the extra 200 on a t3/t4 turbo with a .48 exhaust housing and a .63 compressor housing. i have a b16 and w/.60/.63 nissan t3 i'm making 246hp at 10psi. with the t3/t4 you'll make 300hp at 10-11psi. gotta have built internals for that though. imo i wouldn't get the skunk2 manifold. get an ebay short shifter and type r shift knob and a new fuel pump.

Have a shifter, shiftknob, suspension. I guess I just wanted to get one :) Snail will be a 20g.
I'll just pass on it then. |
Re:Intake manifold affect on spool time?
look into AEBS intake manifolds.
they've been getting rave reviews on honda tech |
