Intake Mani for B16
Buddy of mine is looking for a good intake to use for his boosted b16.
There is a local guy selling both a Venom Sheet Metal Style and a Skunk2 Cast. Which one should we dive one? Both are about the same price, just not sure which is better. |
Re: Intake Mani for B16
I've never seen the venom unit.
AEBS Typhoon for$160 is how I steer most people looking for new and sub-400 ish. |
Re: Intake Mani for B16
Were does the AEBS sell? I've heard of it on H-T but forgot about it since then.

Re: Intake Mani for B16
Wait, I have seen one of those... attached to a stock NA B16 ::)
Not knowing anything about it, big plenum means big power if this is for a 350+ whp car. Otherwise, stick to skank2, IMO. |
Re: Intake Mani for B16
Ya as of right now it running only 8-10psi, I'm unting H-T right now for a AEBS.

Re: Intake Mani for B16
if u find a blox cheaper or the same price than an aebs go for it
|
Re: Intake Mani for B16
Really? Most reports I read are saying the AEBS have dynoed higher then the Blox and Ported ITRs.
|
Re: Intake Mani for B16
Exactly why Joey told you AEBS. For stock engine turbo setups they are the best... And damn inexpensive.
|
Re: Intake Mani for B16
blox is basically a refined skunk2 first gen
|
Re: Intake Mani for B16
i have a skunk2 i/m on my b18 and the size isnt really that noticable, the only differences i see are how the plenum is lower, and the runners are a little larger. if i had the money i wouldve bought the venow or jg
