To install my turbo or not to install my tur bo...what to do???

Ok, my dilema is, i'm broke, I have everthing I need to finished off my turbo except for just a few things like some vacum hoses, and coolant lines which are butt cheap, but I still haven't gotten my EGT gauge($128). I have today and tomorrow off work and I have a friend that can help me, shuld I just put it all on and then in like a month get the EGT gauge when I have more money? i'm thinking the answer is yes, but I need assurance.

I'm taking it to a dyno in a near by town that specialize in import cars to get it tuned asap after I finish.

Just DO IT, DO IT >in my starsky and hutch voice<, You should be fine. Now if you really need money and was thinking of selling your setup, thats different, but if a gauge is holding you back, just do it with A/F for now.

Oh yeah, I think you need more cow bell!!!!!! COW BELL POWER

well my set up is gonna be with 450cc and AFC hack, so I think I'll be pretty safe if I have it tuned. I'm planning on running 10psi after tuning and 7 or 8 b/f.

Then yeah, if your taking it to a shop to have dyno tuned, you don't need gauges ;) ;)

If you were planning on tuning with an EGT, then yeah, I think you'd need it. :-X

Otherwise, you'll get by until you get some more dough.
