Install Help Intercooler piping noise

Ok my intercooler piping is bolt to compressor and then its help together by 2 silicone conectors then int then silcone connector and tb and annother silicone nconnector..

now when I accelerate or decelerate actually and let the rpms bounce it makes a ton of pipes hiting stuff noise lol for a lack of a better term...

my pipe goes thru a 2 metal sheets and i was owndering what can I put to keep it from knocking into the frame... can i make a metal thing with some kind of protection to keep it from making a noise... what do people use here?

other then that it works GREAT

I have an 11 dollar fix...Energy Suspension mount inserts.

Sure your car will vibrate a little more at idle (ok alot more) but this not only keeps your engine stable but also helps with wheel hop and shifting ease. Give them a whirl!

Than make them yourself. You can fill your mounts with urethane. They're not going to be as strong as inserts but they will be better and you'll notice a difference

Awe c'mon people its friendly razzing all outta love. Turbo anything whatever rocks your boat! I'd sport a turbo Yugo if i had to it don't matter. Sheesh call me a dumbass now my bunghole really hurts. Thanks pal!!!!

Another cheap solution that works pretty good and doesnt look ghetto is get some weather strip foam. Tape it around the pipe where it goes through the hole. It should cusion the pipe enough to not rattle and will hold up under heat for the most part. The better way would be to get some a/c line insulation which is thicker and sticks much better.

im actually tryin a sort of ghetto thing.. its 2 pieces of metal with a cuircle cut in them 1 " larger then pipe and a pipe line insulator smuched between the edges and out into the circle... so far the first one died cuz the line insulator is too weak so i may need to go back to home depot for sumthing else... but ima try again

Re:Install Help Intercooler piping noise

get a peace of silicone coupler and split it wrap it around the pipe through the hole, or get a tire tube cut a strip off and wrap it.
