Default Inline fuel pump?

Hey, i'm asking this question because i'm getting confused with what i'm coming up with when i search. I found a complete Drag 3 install write up on honda-tech that i saved to my favorites to help me install my own turbo kit. I'm install my inline fuel pump and i'm wondering how i should mount it in the engine bay so i look around the web to see if i can find some engine bay shots with the pump installed.

What i come across though are people saying that it's better to mount the pump under the car or closer to the tank than in the engine bay. I also hear conflicting statements saying that it's fine either way, it's really up to the person installing the pump and putting in the engine bay might be better for a convinience factor. So right now i'm asking why people install their inline fuel pump where they do. Possibly add pictures if you could.

On the mustang we put the pump under the car behind the gas tank. It wasnt an inline, but an external. It worked just fine for us, the pnly problem is it was big enough that it would hang down below the bumper, and people would know we were running something big.

Yeah, that's another thing i'm worried about, because my car is pretty low so if i can mount in the engine bay that would be more convinient so i dont have to worry about it scraping. Does anyone have pics of it mounted in the engine bay? The only reason why i'm asking is because the only way i can see hooking it up would leave the pump just hanging there by the hoses that are connected to it. I was going to ziptie it (yes i know that is really bootleg, but just as a temporary solution) to my charge pipes so i can atleast get my setup running and make sure everything is working right.
