Re: ihi rhb5 vs. t25

I'd say try and score a 14b if you can. They still put out enough cfm to handle a decent redline for auto-x and have a pretty quick spool off the stock 6cm^2 housing. In auto-x you want the torque down low to get you through the turns and out of the corners but still hold high enough for revving it out on the small amount of straight sections. FYI most auto-x setups (I'm going to assume something like a solo or soloII type) will spend most of their track time above 3k rpms, more than likely they will live near the 5k mark for most of the run.

alright sounds good guys thanx...yea the rhb5 i have was given to me, but it has oil all over the compressor housing...which is why when i found a 2g tsi awd in a j-yard. i was interested in the T25 cuz i could get it cheap.

anyways someone else in my town had a T25 with 80k on it and barely any shaft play at all, while the compressor housing and being oil free...but not clean like the oil was cleaned off. i picked it up for $40
