IHI RHB5 turbo oil lines?
Well, searching returned nothing, and steve said ill need to modiry one of his kits do use it, but which one. Im mostly worried about teh oil supply line, i want to use steve's kit, but which one should i buy for closest fitment, or tell me what you ended up doing. Thanx..
What's the inlet size of the ihi? If it's the same as the td04L (wrx) all I did was picked up a -4 to 10mm x 1.5 fitting to get the stealthmode lines to work. For the drain flange just measure measure the ihi to see what you need.
Hmmm, is it threaded for a bolt? I thought they were two bolts that held a flange on, ive never seen and ihi in person, so i am really clueless about them, im jsut waiting for i tto get here, but want to order everything now. Where dd you get your banjo bolt setup? I know steve has banjo's on his feul lines, maybe he can make it costom jsut for me, lol. I dunno, any more info is appreciated, this is the only place i can probably post a question about this turbo and not get flamed, like hodna tech.
Most of the guys that have had drain flange sizes that don't match any that I offer do this:
They order the flange that is just a little smaller than the one they need (when I don't have it) and drill out the mounting holes to make the drain flange holes mount up with the turbo. The drain flanges are fairly easy to modify with drilling, grinding if you have to.
The only other thing that seperates the kits is the thread size on the oil inlet. Some have this and some have that, banjo fittings and all that ----. This weekend on Ghetto D's install we had the inlet hole, but it wasn't threaded, so we used a 1/8 npt and used the fitting for the t3 kit. With all the different turbo's out there and some of them having different variations, it's very hard to make an exact kit when I'm not sure what you really have. That's why I list the dimensions in my classifieds post. It makes it alot easier to know what I have, they can measure to find out what they need, and sometimes to find what will be easiest to modify to work.
(wweeeeewww, I'm done.)

I have an RHB5 turbo from a probe and was having a hard time makeing up some oil lines. I couldn't find a fitting anywhere that had the same thread as the inlet on the turbo so I went to a local machine shop and they took the original inlet cut it in half and welded a JIC fitting on for the top half and kept the original bottom half that goes into the turbo.. It turned out great and now I can use a jic connector on the end of some -4 stainless braided teflon hose.. Here is a picture of it...
