Re: IHI RHB5 turbo on a dohc zc motor
it spools up right away, but it dies off too early. its up to you if you want to use it. remember, the bigger the turbo, the later it spools, but the better it pulls

Definitely get a larger turbo. That turbo works nice to a certain point, then it just dies off.

Re: IHI RHB5 turbo on a dohc zc motor
i think the inbetween (48/60) might be the best bet... 60/63 might be too laggy for what you want... IMO you really cant go wrong with any of the three lol

Re: IHI RHB5 turbo on a dohc zc motor
i have the .48/.60 on my d16a1 (same as dohc zc), and its perfect. spools at about 3500, and doesn't stop pulling.

Funny because that turbo in my life I have seen it make awesome power and hold 12-14 psi fine on d motors
