I originally planned on using the IHI and turning down the boost by either using the carb spring or lengthening the WG actuator arm so I could run at 5. I ended up getting a good deal on a used greddy kit that was at 5.5 and after about a week decided I wanted more (and you will to). I am now running ~8 on a stock D16y7 with just the blue box. You will be fine at 8 with the hack and 450's, just keep your timing and intake temps in mind.

Yes it is eight, sometimes more.....those B5's spike like a mother ******, at least my old setup did and I know of a few other people who had the same problems. As long as you have the proper fuel management, 8 pounds is nothing. A nice CC intercooler wouldn't hurt either.

I have mx6 gt, and it's at like 7lbs. but those cars are 7.8:1 CR, which doesn't equal much fun. Some people see 8lbs, but it changes for different gauges, and different cars.
