Ignition when it comes to boost?

I have that same 'ol B16a (OBD1, if it matters) in my car and I wondering..when you are boosting..at what point is it worth getting a hotter ignition setup. In other words, how much boost can I get away with before it would be a good idea to get a better ignition system? Or does it really make any difference?

im not sure you ever need a hotter ignition.. Most boosted apps run a few units colder sparkplugs.. you are most likely refering to the need for a btm "boost timing master" this retartds timing on boost.
