IC question?

Does a intercooler have chambers in it? or is it all hollow?

Re:IC question?

the end tanks are hollow, and then the tubes typically go from one side to the other with no obstructions. The more the restriction in your intercooler, the less effecient it is, and then you get poor performance. So in short, there are no chambers, they would be counter productive.

Re:IC question?

It's just like a radiator for charged air..

Small chambers flow between the fins. The outside air flows through the fins, cooling the air passing through the chambers..
