IC piping question

i have a d16 and i only plan on running like 6 pounds on it
do you think would be safe to use pvc and the rubber plumping couplingsfor IC piping every answer will be appreciated thanks

Don't do it. When PVC gets hot, it might release harmful chemicals into your fresh air stream. Alum or SS with some cheap silicone couplers would be a much better idea IMO.

i've done it w no major issue...i wouldn't consider it permanent tho

makes it alot easier when you go to actually buy the metal too, you've a known good model for it

thanks man yea i wouldnt make it permanent but i am kinda worried about the heat comming straight out of the turbo outlet

ran it for 2 months off the cold side of the IC just try to grind a groove in it so the clamps grab even a little

i used those but ditch the bitchass clamps for some heavy duty ones. Just make sure they dont rub any sort of metal as they will tear like 17yr old cheerleaders -------

are you talking about the rubber or the metal circular clamps that come with the coupling
