why doesnt anyone try using copper for there ic piping?

it transfers heat better the alum.

i never thought of that.....i work at an HVAC place in the summers and they have all sorts of copper pieces laying around. You can get them (we have them i mean) in as big as a 5" diameter, but once you get that big, you're looking at a 8-10 gauge pipe so its pretty damn heavy.

ud have to clear it or paint it so it doesnt look like the ***, and once the inside gets a lil damp, id think itd get all shitty, but i cold be wrong....i dont think they make copper bov flanges

why do you want somthing more thermally conductive? Underhood temperatures are like 200 degrees lol. Get some stainless steel, its like 2.5x LESS thermally conductive than mild steel, plus it doesnt corrode like mild does.

well the hood scoop brings a lot of air into the engine bay so i dont think it get s that hot?
this was just an idea so calm down
