IC and aftercooler is it possible

is it possible to use a IC and an aftercooler to cool down the charge from the turbo and maybe use something else to use cool down even more maybe waterinjection or water cooled IC????

use both? aftercooler and intercooler are the same thing, just different names..

Yes you can use water injection w/ a normal intercooler if you like. Air-water intercoolers are mainly for racing purposes, since you will always need the water cooler than ambiant temp or it would be worthless.

as long as i keep droping the degrees in the intake temp the better it will be right

I figure air/water would be better for the street since you arent always moving to get air to flow over an air/air to cool it down... unless you have a fan on your air/air ic... then again its probably almost the same.

you can do what the new Ford Lightnings do, they have a air/water setup that gets cooled by the a/c.

so do you think that if i use an IC and water injection that , if it drops say 50 degrees on the intake mani,, that should work right

There is nothing wrong with running a water to air on the street.. you just need a heat exchanger for the water. Mount a trans cooler or something up in the front to keep the water close to ambient. They actually work very well.
