Default IAT sensor (intake air temp)

ok got my intercooler and piping today but intake pipe dont have hole for the IAT sensor. do i just punch a hole and plug the IAT in the pipe or just leave it hangin? and is there any diffrence between a obd2 and obd1 iat sensor?help pls anyone.......

yea just poke a hole!!!!!

why not measure teh iat go out and by a grommet that it will fit on them drill the hole the size the grommet is on hte inside that way u have a snug as a bug in a rug fit
