well i have a turbo civic eg hatch also..

but i want to turbo my gs.. how much do u guyz think it will cost me?

will it last w/ a stock engine?

has anyone on here done it?

its gonna blow up unless you spend a lot of money... lotz of money. i would never turbo a lexus lol. u must have money to waste.

there are several companies that make turbo kits for that car. look at the parts they include and their management system.

The GS300 has a 2JZ-GE engine. The SAME engine as the Supra non-turbo. The turbo uses a slightly differnt variation of the SAME engine code 2JZ-GTE. The GE version can be run upwards of 500rwhp on the stock block. Great turbo motor. Do it. www.Lextreme.com www.clublexus.com all Supra sites.

thanks for the replies.. how much we talkin? i make about 3k a mmonth workin 17 mins a day ahhaha so its all good.

so u think i should do it? how much would a shop charge to install a turbo kit into a lexus w/ tuning? i did my ls turbo w/ friends and tuned my self w/ safc ahha but the lexus i gotta do the real deal stuff. no mickey mouse :)

Are you really that stupid? You do realize that they're just Toyota motors, most of which are based off of the same engines that come with turbos? ::)

A friend of mine turboed his SC300 (same engine I think as the GS) and he's running 12's at 119 or 120. Stock bottom/top ends.

dude i aint that ------ dumb... he asked the stupid question when im sure he hasn't done a bit of research on it so i gave the dumbest reply... no ---- its possible. no ---- he doesn't have to spend a ton of money... i jus gave him the reply he was probably expecting... your an idiot for not noticing my sarcasm... do i need one of these :P after each comment so u see sarcasm? but imo if i bought a lexus, i bought it for a reason... cost 20x more then any honda so why destroy the motor in it...but hey, thats jus my opinion. if he wants a reliable motor jus get the jdm soarer setup, should fit right in.

dude be nice.. i've been into turbo for the past six years..

im new to lexus and dont know ---- about their motors. if u threw a honda to me then ill be ok. but im dealin w/ a lexus. and its auto..

is it worth turboing? be nice plz.

I know a guy in dayton, Ohio that has a newer Lexus IS300 with (i think) a GS400 v-8 swap in it with twin turbo setup. it's show quality, but it was very expensive, here's their info, they should be able to point you in the right direction if you give em a call. They specialize in turboing any type of car. If you read HCI, he had a dyno'd 600whp civic in there that he built this last summer.
