1. it doesnt matter. if you want a turbo only to sound cool, go away

2. no my car runs fine without an intake manifold, are you serious?

3. no you don't NEED one, its just a good idea

4. you definitely are not qualified to instal a turbo, if you really want one, have a pro do it.

hmmmmmm right well, anyway if anyone can tell me more please do so. and im not interested in a turbo for the noise my reason for this is that my car is slow and with 5psi (a safe level without worry of detonation) i figure i can get like 50hp (corect me if im wrong) so ill be running aroud 200hp and the BOV is just a bonus im interested in

nurse!

10bhp per psi.. bullshit

of course you need intake and exhaust manifolds, fool

imho there is no point turbocharging your car if theres only 5psi of boost..

do it right, or dont do it atall

They answer you for your question. all the person here tell you that you need to pay for a good and safe kit. If you want a the cheapest kit that will save you money, your engine will blow.

And for the blow off valve, if you install a turbo only for the blow off valve, go and buy the little crap that simule the sound.

Please Disreguard our UK prick on the board, he likes to put people down at times.

Anyhow, to answer your questions.

1)Will it be as loud? No it will not be nearly as loud at 5psi as 20psi. But you will definatly still hear it.

2)Well, maybe you dont understand how a turbo setup works? You will need a exhaust manifold (custom) to adapt a turbo to the manifold. But you will not need to change anything to your factory intake manifold. It will do just fine.

3)5psi is pretty low, and it will make the car a bit faster, Depending on exhaust/fuel managment setup and how well its tuned, you probably could get 35-40hp @ 5psi

4)Yes, once the webpage is up, you will be able to see how our setups our built, and it will answer alot of your questions.

good luck

cheers!

its hardly putting people down , is it?

10bhp per psi was b/s last time i checked

and as far as im aware manifolds tend to be useful..

blunt, yes prick/putting people down.. i beg to differ

be nice jeff :-* it is christmas afterall...

indeed it is X-mas, but I don't wish for ANY of our newbies getting "BLUNT" responses like that. We are all here to learn, in a respectable community.

Whats that old term?

If you dont have nothing nice to say, then dont say nothing. ;)
