I need a hand...
Sorry if these appear to be noob questions, but I'm having a few issues and thought you guys might be able to help....
First off, can anyone ID this turbo? I got it for next to nothing, so this is what I'm going to use.... I was told it was a T3 (.60/.63) and that's about it. There's no other markings on it that make any sense. The closest thing that I can find to compare it to is #2 here (Ford XRT1): http://www.mjmturbos.com/T3.htm I guess I'd like to try and figure out what car it somes from to find a flange for the turbo outlet and gaskets... I've never seen anything like that before, much less know where to find one.
2nd up, I had only anticipated (and seen) an oil inlet and outlet (shown in the picture as facing you and on the opposite side). Any idea what the other two are for? Also, one of the oil inlets has a blue plug in it and the other has a red one. The other two are red plugs, but more like the screw in variety...
Third, flange 1 I covered and from what I can figure out so far is that 2 & 4 should be connected together with a vaccuum tube. I have never seen #3 though...
And finally #4, This is the exhaust side and shows the downpipe connection... I guess if I can figure out what car this comes from, I can find a flange for it... Or is this something a good muffler shop would be ablt to fab for?

well for the exhaust flange (last pic), just take those 5 bolts off and get rid of that piece, you can get a regular t3 5 bolt exhaust flange that you will use to make your donwpipe, it is a t3, but with no numbers, can't really tell you the size. besides the oil inlet/outlet, you also have two holes to hook coolant lines up to, it doesn't matter which one you use for the inlet/outlet (unlike the oil). two and four should be connected with vacuum line, wastegate actuator. 1 is where your charge pipes will be ran from. and 3 looks like it was for some kind of sensor or something on the car that it came off of, either way, just plug it up and put a filter on the end of that part. good luck, it sounds like you'll need it

1. Yes, its a T3!. It looks like a 63/60. Do a search and you will find that flange for the compressor. Check ebay or something...you'll find it!
2. The turbo is watercooled and oil cooled, thats why it has those other two red plugs. the blue plug is the oil return and the other little red plug is the oil inlet. if you dont want to use the water-cooled portion, just put some bolts or better plugs to keep other ---- from getting in there.
3. Whats thats site guys for this flange..R something engineering...i forgot the name! duh Yes 2 and 4 just use a hose to connect the two..simple! 3 is probably something for the car it came on, just use some type of bolt or something to close it off and you'll be fine.
4. I think you can get a flange for that downpipe too. A good muffler shop should be able to fab a decent downpipe for you..

Hey... I won't complain.. complain...
As far as the compressor housing flange, most of the turbo's I've seen or read about have a round end instead of the flange that you can hook your charge tubes to... The flange was just throwing me for a loop.
The oil return, I do remember seeing some pics of kits and the infeed end has a square opening (i think) and by default, the round end (with the red plug) should be my return. I will probably do something with the water cooling as well, just really didn't know exactly how to identify them.
And the last part, I'm not sure I can totally take off the plate and still keep the internal wastegate... I've only hadthe turbo for a few days and I'll have to take another look to make 100% sure.

I bought a volvo t3 w/ the exact same wastegate setup you have... and I took it off and went external.... I have the flange that you need. it's triangular shaped, and tapered on one side to seal on that rounded part.
...I don't really know what it's worth... but if you can't find one we can work somthing out...

As far as the exhaust (wastegate flapper housing).
Any decent muffler shop will have a flange for it... but you will have to have a peice of pipe flared into it, it worked for me.....
heres a pic pic... cant really see it up close but you get an idea.... if they did it right there wont be any leaks.
see where those three bolts are.... well you get the flange and bolt that on there... and whammo... no more shitty heavy cast housing...... I bet my downpipe weighed just slighty a bit more than a stupid O2 housing...
