I guess since i'm fairly new i'll post my car here too. 56k warn
I joined here quite awhile ago when I first started my boost project on my focus ZX3. There was alot of work and research involved for the foci, especially when it came down to tuning. I found the best guy to do it at mcnews automotive in dillsburg PA. He has tuned hundreds of foci. I know this is mainly a honda forum but there are a few turbo foci out there, not many.
So I started off w/ the DOHC 16 valve zetec engine w/ the MTX-75 tranny. Then I added, Garret T3 super 60 42 lb ford racing injectors Tial 38mm wastegate Tial 50mm BOV Front mount Pro-m MAF sensor Diablo sport MAF voltage extender Magnaflow flexback exhaust Superchip dyno tuned at mcnews Torsen t2 differential centerforce clutch and pressure plate ford racing flywheel all new tranny b/c the diff. shredded it when the spider gear rounded So she still needs a little cosmetic work like a jet hot coated header and things like this but here she is. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...3/HPIM0689.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...3/HPIM0690.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...3/HPIM0691.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...3/HPIM0692.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...3/HPIM0693.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...3/HPIM0694.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...3/HPIM0696.jpg Me and the fiance' http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...3/HPIM0700.jpg |

I wouldnt jet coat the manifold, I would just thermal wrap it, dont even have to take it off the car and youll get much better thermal cooling

She only made 180 ft lbs, we went very very easy on her because i still had a stock tranny at that point (it didn't matter anyways it still shredded the diff later). September 1st she goes in to make 225 to 230 ft lbs. Pretty much done with the car other then getting some CF headlights to replace those damn chrome ones, will probably heat wrap the headers and what not from some suggestions on here thank you. Me and the fiance will have our own place here by spring, we're looking now so the car is taking a backseat. My main focus is to get the house and get a daily driver and get this thing off the road. She is now as much of a car nut as I am now, she knows the focus goes no where after i've had it for 3 1/2 years the car it's self is almost 7. Then after I get my daily driver me and her have our eyes on a old fairlane with a 351 in it. |
