I got my HMT kit today YUUPPEE
I'm happy as hell now cause I got my turbo kit yesterday. A guy on this forum named TurboEG originally made the kit and had to sell. Luckly I e-mailed him first and I"m now the proud new owner of it. Let me say first that TurboEG was a real honest guy and never bullsh*ted at all and was very helpful to me and understanding so I thank him. His craftsmanship is awsome and if I had a Digi cam I'd show you the sweet job he did on the adapter plate and all the piping and down pipe.He was even cool enough to throw in the DSM 450cc injectors that I was suppose to buy but at the last minute couldn't cause I had to buy a new cat. converter. I got alot of extra stuff with the kit so I won't have to go buying stuff. Really the only thing I need to buy to use the kit is a better fuel pump and something to control the injectors. To make my day better I picked up my favorite BOV two days before the kit came ( A greddy type-S BOV ) my friend had it at his performance shop and I got it for about $80 less then what everyone else sells them for. Man I can wait to put it on. Well I'll stop talking and tell what the kit it although I told him I'd keep what kind of turbo it is a secret but I'll just say the car he got if off of it's brother is a STi. Here's what I got:
HF/CX exhaust manifold
-DSM injectors ( already modified with seals )
-all charge piping and some extra piping.
-"""" turbo ( oil and water cooled )-this thing is in imaculant condition basicly brand new.
-custom 2 1/2" down pipe ( it looks like 2 1/2" )
-tons and tons of lines for coolant
-DSM side mount I/C which goes in the air box location (stealth )
-Vacuum lines and T fittings.
-1g DSM BOV already welded flange ( being replaced by my Greddy Type-S )
-all Gaskets.
- I know I'm forgeting a few things
I know I paid alittle more then what most HMT kits go for on this site but the quality of work he did was worth the price and I"m very happy with what I got. So I just need to go buy a -AN fitting so I can run the oil feed line and fuel pump and controller and it's on. It'll be another three weeks before installing it cause I still have to buy those three things but I can't wait.
