ok guys I have ignitieted my car yesterday with the new setup
D15z6 stock 110K miles Thicker head gasket ( lower compression ) but dont know how much.. Big T3 turbo 450cc blue tops BIg FMI FMU Unichip Dastek Big charge pipes Downpipe + entire exhaust is 2.5 INCH After first testes I have pressure at only 4000RPM And i can not set less than 13-14PSI on the wastegate. DO you think the engine will hold that? ---- I hope this week-end will not Bring me a Blown Engine |

what kind of wastegate? internal that came with the turbo? if so, just shorten the rod by bending it and this will lower the psi. no, i wouldn't run 13-14 psi with an fmu at all, i wouldn't run over 8 with an fmu.

actually you have to lengthen the rod to lower the psi

get it to spike up to 14 psi and then snap a photo of your "1 bar glory days" ;D

I made the mistake of bending the wastegate open, and it sucked, the car took forever to spool up because the wastegate is always open. -Ben
