I can't find the stock oil sensor, can you help me out?
I'm hooking up my oil pressure gauge, but I've looked all over the engine, and I can't find it, I have a d16zc. Also, what exactly does it look like and how big is it?

It's right up above the oil filter, it's got a wire going to it, you just unplug the wire and you need a long big ass socket to get it off, I'm not sure exactly what size but it's pretty damn big.

yeah, just a one wire sensor, it will have a rubber boot around it, just pull that back, unplug the wire and i believe it's a 22mm, or vice grips ;D

I couldn't get vice grips onto mine, I couldn't even see the damn thing. I just had to hope I was doin it right. That was the hardest part of my install, took like an hour or so. But it doesn't leak so I'm happy.

the size socket on the b series motors is a 24 mm deep socket. the d's may be different though.

i used vice grimps to get mine off and it seemed to work just fine. you'll have to get it on there pretty damn tight cause the last thing you want to do is stip it.

Do yourself a favor and get the correct fitting from www.mcmaster.com NPTxBSPT is what you need. Dont hang too much ---- off that fitting either. I tried to run a T from the turbo, stock sending unit and autometer sending unit. It cracked the 1/8 nipple 3 times. I moved the sending units to the fenderwell with a SS braided hose.
