HX35 split turbine ports ????
so i read somewhere on here a while ago about cloging up one of the turbine ports on the hx35 to make it spool faster or something of that nature. but now i cant find the thread so if someone can find it or just explain here. is this a true statement ? how can it be true if it is ?

Re: HX35 split turbine ports ????
Blocking off one side of the turbine will make it spool very fast, you are essentially cutting the AR in half. But it will also be restrictive. There has been a few talks about making a spilt turbine inlet flange with a throttle plate in it, kinda of a ghetto VGT.
There was some post about this over on turbomustangs.com
