HX35 OR NOT BUILT MOTOR
 

I am in the middle of building a lsvtec with GE sleeves 84.5mmm, weisco rollerwave pistons, eagle h beam rods, type r head, ctr cams, 1000cc injectors and edelbrok IM.
I have an hx 35 turbo and tial 38mm wg. I am just wondering if there is a down side to running a holset turbo over a garrett or turbonetics. There is alot more money going into this build that i originally thought. I dont wont there to be anything holding back power or reliability. thanks for all the help

What are your power goals for this project?The HX is great providing it will meet your goals in a effiecent manner.

I would like to be some were around 450 to 500whp. is that pushing the limits of a 38mm wg?
