HP on B18
I know this question may have already been asked in the past. I was wondering if anyone has seen HP numbers on the LS motor. I have a 92 Integra and I am going to boost around 8psi.
I have: -450's -S-AFC -T3, .50 a/r turbine, .57 a/r compressor -SSautochrome equal length manifold -2.5" downpipe -2.25" exhaust -DSM SMIC |
Re:HP on B18
heh, this question must get asked about twice a week. Anyway, are you looking for stock horsepower or after the turbo H.P?

Re:HP on B18
After the turbo...I know it gets asked alot...I just wanted an idea of what to expect.

Re:HP on B18
well, it's tough to give an exact # because there are so many factors that can effect it... but I would guess somewhere around 180-190... probably more after dyno tuning. BTW what are you going to do about retarding the timing? just retard it at the distributer?

Re:HP on B18
I wasnt planning on retarding it at all. I will be using 2 stage colder plugs though. Oh, by the way, I have an automatic.

Re:HP on B18
You are supposed to use a VBand Clamp. It clamps the pipe to the housing, but I think I might just have a flange welded on.

Re:HP on B18
between 180-200 on say 8psi maybe? but being an auto it'll probably start slipping soon.

Re:HP on B18
i hope thats not the small style T25 like the ones from the eclipse. i know you said its different but if its still the small style.....get a BIGGER turbo!!

Re:HP on B18
better get a manual tranny.
i fucked up my 91 auto integra with only a fucken venom 400 performance module. auto trannies are worthless unless ur a cabbie, lazy or just plain old (on hondas that is) |
