How to tighten BOV?
 

My friend told me that if my BOV makes fluttering noise then that means it's not tight enough? Do I rotate clockwise to tighten it? I really have no clue with this BOV and what to set it at.

first off...it is an adjustable bov right? after that...righty tighty, lefty loosey. but imo you should loosen it more if youre getting fluttering/compressor surge

mine has a nut on top, it's 10mm

Well it's a Turbo XS Type H34. And it IS adjustable. But you're saying that the fluttering means it's too tight?

flutter is made when the bov is too tight and it causes the air to either rush at the turbo or open the bov in short bursts.

Loosen that ----, tighten, try whatever works man, aint nothing bad going to happen with 1 or 2 boosts, im just not sure how u define flutter, right tightens it up.. meaning it takes more pressure to open it, left loosens it and itll have a tendency to leak under boost and not have the nice high pitch swoosh sound

Ok this is better...this link is kind of what my car sounds like. EXCEPT FOR THE NICE ENGINE SOUND! :P
