Default how to tell if it's T3 or T4

May sound like a dumb question but i got my turbo and manifold as a pair and i can't remember if the flange on the manifold is a t3 or t4 flange. It's a 60-1 turbo. When i got it i didn't think it would lag as bad as it does so I want to get a smaller turbo but just want to make sure i won't have to get a new manifold too. How do you tell which is which. My turbo is big. It's a 60-1 the cold side inlet is 4" with a V band hot side. thanks

Post pictures.

60-1 is a T04B compressor, but all you are worried about is if it has been mated to a T3 hotside or not. The flange that the turbo manifold bolts to the turbo is the one we need to see.

How much for the 60-1, btw?

Don't know how do i post pic.'s on here. Sorry I haven't been on this forum in like five years. I'm pretty sure it's a 60-1 with a T4 hot side. I bought it awhile back with the tublar manifold and four bolt tial waste gate just can't remember what exactly it is. Turbo hits hard as hell once in boost but it lags a little too much for my taste and i need to re-do my down pipe or just buy a pre-made one and everyone I find i.e. peak boost full race etc. are all four bolt three bolt or five bolt flanges no V bands which is on there. Or i'll just have to mae my own.

Add a shot of giggle gas to help it spool

A smaller turbo is never the answer.

At how many rpms does it start spooling up? what rpm does it hit full boost, which is how many psi?

you can keep that 60-1 compressor side and have the turbine side modified.
Maybe you can just swap out the turbine housing for a lower a/r one, which is cheap and you can do it by yourself.
reducing the turbine wheel size is also an option, for example, if you have P trim, going O or N trim would make a big difference but that's more expensive as it involves complete disassembly of the turbo.

spool i'm only running 8 pounds right now even though i built my motor over the summer but till i get my uberdata install cause i'm just using a missing link dsm 450's walbro 255lb pump and a afc with colder plugs. my turbo is laughin at me like " hey what the hell you do realize i can push a hell of alot more air then this " But i'm hitting 1 PSI at around 3,900rpm's 3-4 around 4,300 8 ar 4,800 and above actually i hit full boost at 5,000 RPM's and my vtec kicks in at 5,000 RPM so it pulls hard as hell once i hit 5k. I don't want a smaller turbo cause i love the top end this thing gets. just sucks every time i race everyone gets a half car head start cause it lags so bad. lol. i did weld in a bung for Laughing gas or meth injection when i made my i/c pipe i just have it plugged up right now but those options i'm really thinking about it. I had meth on my SRT4 and i loved it but the car was stolen and stripped so i'm back to my honda's again.

surge limit ? brake boost yea i've done that and warped my rotors about the third time i do. Luckly i'm a mechanic and can just resurface them at my shop but i definitly need to uprgade my rotors and pads. Only need to brake boost when running domestics anything import usually just gets a half car lead but as soon as i hit boost it just pulls right by them. I have alot of plans just need time. MY mom passed away two weeks ago and my civic i'm driving now wasn't even meant to be drivin on the street i was just going to keep it a drag track car but my daily driver 05' SRT4 was stolen and found two weeks later stripped so i just threw my civic together to get something decent to drive on the road my slow jeep just wasn't cutting it. But since my mom passed away i got fifty million things to do now so my civic is on the back burner i was just curios of what to do with it
