how to take apart turbo?
well today my freind gave me what he said was a t25 off a nissan but didnt know what model it came off of...and i was talking to someone from this board and he said what i thought it should be a t3...because of the exaust flange and it has a a/f .80 and its pretty big...but the thing is that when you spin the turbine it has no play but has resistance how would i got about freeing it..and he said it wasnt leaking any oil

|
Re:how to take apart turbo?
how hard is it to spin?
there is a right up somewhere on how to take apart your turbo, its hard cause usually some of the bolt are rusted and will break off, and plus the turbo is balanced, so if you take it apart and put it back togther wrong, then i will ---- ---- up. |
Re:how to take apart turbo?
well im just wondering because when i got my other turbo it spun with ease and this on you have to give it a little force to spin it and it wont spin unless your pushing it as soon as you stop so does the turbine...but i know he told me it was sitting for a while you think it just needs to be heated a little and oil to run through it again?
