How to remove studs out of housing?
Finally got my t3/t04b and the studs are just too long for it to fit my downpipe I already mocked up. Need suggestions in how to remove the studs.

There is actually a socket set you can buy and it grabs a hold of the stud and takes it out with a breeze.

Re: How to remove studs out of housing?
do not use vice grips. buy a can of bp blaster and soak the studs for a day and used two nuts and turn the bottom nut( if stud is facing upwards) and that will work.

If you stick something with some grip like rubber, or a rubber band on the stud then vise grip that, should work better.

Re: How to remove studs out of housing?
Heat the housing around the stud with a torch then try to remove them with a vise grip. We tried that and no go so we just had the local machince shop take them out ;D.
