I wouldn't use anything but a chop saw. I tried my bandsaw and it came out like ----. I tried a hacksaw and the cut started turning to the side (plus that metal is thick as ***)
The chopsaw is raw power and takes no time.

I am doing dan's log for the hmt nw install day #2 right now at work. it was all pretty until i took the acetylene torch to it to blow a couple holes in it.
course im using mild steel and mig welds too.
I cheated and used exact measurements when I did all my cuts too (sorry steve). I also cheated and oblonged the holes to match the flange with a gigantic hydraulic powered press, push a button and squish! To cut my T's I used the big bandsaw at work, then to cut the elbows I had to man up to the almighty chop saw power. Toss a nice 45 on all the ends to give you a nice V to weld into and you're golden.
PS - to anyone that wants to do this, PM 88 Turbo CRX, I find you'll like his prices.
I'll post up all the exact measurements of everything and how much you have to cut off of each end a little later.
