this spring im gonna push the h22 to its limit im jest woundering how much power the walbro 255 high output pump is good for anyone makin 500-600whp on one?

 

MachV motorsports, which is a very well known dsm supplier/shop/tuner says the walbro 255 lph will support 550 hp with a dsm, so maybe its good for 500 whp, but if you reach 600+ whp you should go bigger, i know a guy with a 506 whp civic and he uses a 340 lph pump

 

there was a car on HT not long ago that made 600+ with one

 

Mustang people use those for over 500 hp.

a 190 lph pump will support a 450 hp 347 and 150 shot, good enough to run 9's in a Fox body.

 

now bone, don't these come stock in mustangs and most ford v8's? or have i been mis-informed

 

No way. Stock fox mustangs are like 88 lph.
