youre not going to need more than the OEM recommended 3.5-3.8L, as long as you have oil pressure and your feed line is connected properly your turbo will be getting the oil, possibly even to much

I think that filling it with to much oil and going upto or over your oil return line can cause some major problems as well

You should check your oil level a lot more than often though

yeah...it would be important to have AN OP guage...and also...if you start seeing smoke...get a restrictor valve or something close to it. Too much oil will eventually break the seals on the turbo and smoke will not be the only issue. after about a week you will see the smoke if you are getting too much oil...on that T25 it could be less time than that.

What should the oil pressure be going to the T25?

if you use a -3an oil line it will reduce the oil pressure enough to where it won't blow your seals in the turbo. i'm using a -4an line and no problems even with a 87'300z turbo.

i think he uses -3an, i used -4an cause that's what the greddy turbo kit comes with i heard. so i bought it in -4an size.

Maybe you should run a 15g turbo just because greddy says so huh?

As far as adding more oil to the system, I've always just added about an extra 1/4 of a quart to all my turbo setups.

actualy i read that in the FAQ as the reason why the writter chose a -4an oil line. a -3an is used also, it provides lower oil pressure than the -4an even and is a lil easier on the seals.

guess what, I've used -4 and -3 without problems. I prefer -3 because its smaller, easier to work with, looks better and the ID of the -3 is about the same size as most factory turbo charged cars oil lines.

Aside from physically measuring the oil feed pressure on an OEM, matching ID with an OEM would get you close enough. I personally set mine with a T-valve to not exceed 40psi at high revs, but still register at idle.

My kits come with a -4. I doubt you would see any different pressures from either of the two. Flow, maybe, but not pressure.
