how much can i boost safely???
i'm installing a custom turbo kit for my 2000 civic si soon. engine is completely stock. i was just wondering how much you guys think i can boost safely and how much power i may be putting out. heres a list of what i have. My wastegate is set at 7 psi. i want to push at least 8 psi for now until i built up the internals and plan to go around 12-14 after the build up.
t3 turbo (intake A/R .60 Exhaust A/R .63)
starion FMIC
MSD inline fuel pump
SMC Plus
dsm 450cc injectors
manual boost controller
turbo xs type h BOV
custom b16 manifold (log style)
MSD6 BTM
NGK 2 step colder plugs
i still need oil drain and return lines and i'm waiting for my intercooler piping to come in the mail they're 2.5" madrel bends and i also need to get a downpipe made, and relocate the pipes on the intercooler to the side.

The B16 is pretty strong, much stronger then the D series and I read they boost D series with stoch internals to 10 psi with good fuel management. You should be able to boost 12 psi on stock internals or maybe more if you got good fuel management
