how far can you throw an fmu?

elmeventy eighdy?

It's more like how much power can it hold. I wouldnt push teh motor past 200whp on a good tune. what turbo are you using? This will give a better idea of how much power you will make per psi.

EDIT: with an fmu, I wouldnt go past 8 psi.

200 million psi! lol nah dont even waste your time with a fmu, i assume your obd1 so go with uberdata or crome. and i cant tell you how much boost to run b/c it all depends on the setup. but on stock internals you can get about 200-210hp...use the search button...there is alot of helpful info on this site.

Why do you assume he's obd1? It's an obd2 motor and he's using an fmu, so it would be the dumbest idea and a waste of money to convert to obd1 in that case.

i've been running just over 200whp for well over a year and 180+ for almost 3 years. don't go by psi, but by whp. good tune and keep turning up the boost until you get in the 200-210 range and then stop. start looking to build the bottom end and some headwork if you want more.

Tune. Gas used. Compression. Who is tuning. Dyno Tuned? Wideband?

is it an air compressor regulator?? Any type of bleed valve really sucks ass at controlling boost. I just found out yesterday that my audi gate was adjustable :6
