how much boost can a b18a1 hold with stock internals and 70,000 miles on it

 

All depends on engine management, Not how many miles, not what kind of turbo, its all in how well its tuned. I think the most stock sleeves can take is around 14-16psi, but thats really pushing it. A realisitic # is 10-12psi. Keep reading through our forum

 

well its got a msd boost retard dsm 450 cc injectors and a 255 fuel pump

 

I would highly suggest tuning on a dyno with wideband to get your A/F's dead on, before you start to bring the boost up.

People dont understand how tuning is so important, and if you want it to last, its really the only way.

That is correct, when your on the dyno, I'm sure the guys running it can give you an idea of whats going on Too lean/rich etc..
