how much boost?
With the Stock Honda MAP sensor What's the boost limit?
And are the 380cc DSM injectors any good? :-\ |
Re:how much boost?
I believe a stock map sensor is only good to 11psi, then u need a 2-bar.. You will also need either check valve or a missing link to avoid the CEL...

Re:how much boost?
Which injector should I pick? the 450cc or the 380cc? in relation with cost and performance...I've been offered the 380cc for $40 less then the 450cc.

Re:how much boost?
The 450cc's shouldn't cost u more than $40. I got mine for $40 Canadian funds...If your not gonna be running high boost levels(10+psi) i wouldn't think you would need anything more than the 380cc's...Keep in mind you will need some sort of piggyback controller(Apex-i Vafc) or a standalone system to lower the duty cyle of the injectors zdyne or Hondata...

How do I get check valve or missing link?
I'm new at this so bare with me :-\ |
Re:how much boost?
thanx for your reply on the injector question.

Re:how much boost?
On more thing....If I'm going with the big injectors I would need a bigger fuel pump..I think..could the stock fuel regulator cope with all the added fuel?

Re:how much boost?
I would hold out of the 450's.. but if you cant find any for a good price, the 380's are just fine.
"How do I get check valve or missing link? I'm new at this so bare with me " If you run boost to your stock map sensor, the CEL will turn on when it voltage hits 3.0 volts. Check valves bleed the boost off going to the map sensor line. You can get check valves at pet stores and automotive stores, cost 2-5 bucks each, probably will need 3 or so. A missing link is a high tech check valve, you will only need one. They run about 50 bucks, http://www.synapseengineering.com/ Jeff |
