DSM 450's will be plenty big enough too, if you wanna save some money. its all about the tune and management, just remeber that.

Not having a tiny ass turbine housing/wheel strangle the engine so that excess heat can't escape, and not having a tiny ass worthless compressor superheating charge at 5 whp more than the vehicle makes anyway, is a form of engine management. Just because you do it mechanically instead of electronically doesn't mean it isn't every bit as valid.

I vote straight T3. Good match, good power potential, not overly larghe so you can still get quick spool.

I rock the .42/.48 T3. I also am a boosted y8. It hits full boost by 3700rpm in 3rd gear (which is 10psi). It's a nice street turbo. Eventually you'll want to upgrade, but for the streets I think it's the best bang for the buck. Decent spool and carry you to redline with no problem and when Vtec kicks in it is an unbelievably strong and long powerband. Don't rule out a .48/.60 or BBKA .60/.63. Heck, I see alot (Fook) of 14b's on D-series pulling strong numbers. No less than .42/.48 and go as laggy as you want.
