Default How much boost...

...are dsm 450cc injectors good for? If I am using an SAFC and no other fuel system mods (fmu, aftermarket fuel pump)?

How much boost will the 450cc injectos be good for WITH an upgraded fuel pump? Thanks!@

Well,
i'm not asking how much boost my particular engine can HANDLE, i'm just trying to get a feel on whether or not i'll ever need to purchase injectors again after this. I'm shopping for 450s now (they seem to be the most popular choice here) and I have an SAFC installed already. I have a 93 civic dx with a D15 of course and the only changes i'll be making to the engine are an upgraded headgasket (no thicker, just tougher). I'll be using an rbh5 turbo with hf manifold.

I don't think i'll ever be getting into T3/T4 territory, but I may get a better flowing (newer) turbo in the future. I just don't like pissing money away by buying parts I know i'll be upgrading later.

Okay i'm done, sorry for the long post.

The headgasket is not necessary. The headgasket will probably be the only part of that motor that will survive boost.

Those injectors will flow a certain cc at a certain pressure. How much power they will make, depends on the efficiency of your motor, RPM, boost pressure, FPR..

It's not just an amount of boost they will handle, it's much more than that.
