We currently do blow through EFI systems on motorcycles with GT25's to 35's, but now we have a customer that wants his little Triumph turbocharged (800cc). This GT12 turbo does not have a carbon seal and it ment for blow through systems, but we want to use a draw through to keep cost down. Very small boost levels and pump gas application.

I have heard of people machining the compressor housing to accept an o ring which allows you to run a draw through, does anyone know of a place that does this work? Or what kind of seal they are using? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Or has anyone ever used a carb on the front of a turbo that does not have this carbon seal? What exactly happins to the turbo? Im guessing it has something to do with the oil seal, either fuel may leak into the bearing housing or oil may creep out?
