how many steps?

i have a 99 civic dx hatch with a d16y7 sohc, running around 5psi with 440's and safc hack. My question is what kind of spark plugs should i put in, one or two step colder.

I have always run stock plugs... if you are lacking on fuel management, I wouldnt go anything more than 2 steps

well i just got a set of 2 step colder plugs and what you guys are saying is that i should stick with factory? Should i also gap the plugs with what my car calls for or should i gap them differently? I'm still having my wires pop off and it's pissing me off. Nology sucks. I'm going to put my factory wires and plugs back in and see if they still pop off. ghettoturbo what is your setup for running 13psi? Any engine work done?

stock motor with z6 intake manifold, 450s, smc500, inline pump, thunderbird T3...try tightening your plugs often to keep your wires from popping off...and you will need to gap your plugs tighter than stock, especially if you run a decent amount of boost

Re:how many steps?

i have been problems with plugs. my motor seems really picky. when I initially ran the car after putting turbo on i ran 2 step colder and really rich. ran like ---- so i switched back to stock plugs and the car ran 20 times better. then i took some fuel away cause it was so rich the car ran like ---- again so on a hunch put my 2 step colder back in now car runs fine again????? is that normal tuning?
