Default how many PSI on stock head bolt?

I ve just blown my third Head gasket recently
I cant stand anymore that stupid feeling i have everytime it happens and i see white F@#$ smoke out of the exhaust.
Is it because I am using stock head bolts>?
I heard something somewhere that over 10PSI the head goes up because the stock bolt are very weak.
but for F#$%# hell i was only boosting 11PSI... its nothing

studs are pretty cheap, buy some. you can also reuse them with more succes than bolts

I've went up to 15 psi with stock head bolts...
Something could be warped...let them check if the deck of the block is straight and also the head...

I seen a Del sol with a boosted gsr motor at the track. Was running 18 pounds, I asked him is he was sleeved or had aftermarket headstuds, nope

He said hed much rather blow a headgasket and have an easy fix once in a while rather than blow a piston or something, he may have said rings, i forget

Something to think about

There like $140 though for upgrades

that doesnt make much sense... so he is saying the head will lift off the block because of the bolts before it cracks the sleeves...
