Re: how to lower boost??
only way to do it is lengthen it or get a new actuator....thread it when you lengthen it for adjustability, but lengthening it creates lag

Re: how to lower boost??
Im in the same situation but you cant lower the boost with a controller only up it on internals, im goin ghtis route though if you dont already have a threaded rod....

Re: how to lower boost??
so lengthing the arm will have more force pushing the inside the wastegate right...? if so can't you just push or bend the wastegate in towards the turbo which will cause the arm to push in more into the wastegate??? or am i'm fuking stupid to even suggest that???

Re: how to lower boost??
you can bend it in towards the wastegate flapper for less boost (Ive heard it makes more lag though)...they did this on honda tuning mag. article with a crx budget boost

Re: how to lower boost??
The way I lowered mine is by moving the wastegate over by putting washers inbetween the wastegate bracket and the compressor housing. It is really laggy and doesn't spool til 4000 right now but it runs 6psi exactly on the nuts. Or go by a wastegate off of a 3000gt or a dodge stealth off of a 9b and put that on there. They run 6 psi stock.
