the other barb fittings should go inline between the FPR and the fuel tank. if i remember right the one in the middle of the bottom is the out one and the other is in.

Off your fuel pressure regulator that is a FUEL RETURN LINE, this line goes back into the fuel tank (fuel that is not used from the rail)

go about 6 inchs back (or whatever you want) cut the line in half. In the middle of the FMU there should be 2 barbed fittings about the same size, Do as jeff said, the middle one should be the Return line (meaning going back to the tank) and the Other line will go to the other fitting (line in). The little small nipple will go to a intake manifold vac source.

im sorry guys, spare with me but i still doesnt get the concept of return line. so the line out go straigh to the fuel tank? which mean that i have to tab a nipple to the fuel tank like the oil pan and run a line? ::)

try looking around your fuel rail. There should be a hose of some kind leading back to your fuel tank. Just disconnect that and hook it up to the pic where it says fuel out. and get another hose and hook it from the picture that says fuel in to the fuel rail. Tada your done :)

This is a picture of a Honda FPR with an adjustable cap, as you can see in the pic, the top line is vacuum you can tap that line for the fmu, and the bottom line is the return.

If you find something similar in your car that should be you FPR. Unhook that line and run it to the out line of the FMU, then get a new hose and run it from the FPR that you just unhooked, to the in outlet of the FMU.

Hope this helps you even more

i have a toyota tercel... its a small 1.5 sohc motor... got a question does low compression help when you boost low? i believe my car compression is around 9.1 or something... not too clear on this but its very low.

Re:how to hook up this fmu?

If you mean C/R (compression Ratio or the 9:1 number you stated) Then yes a lower compression ratio is good for a turbo setup.

If you mean that your Cyliners have low compression...then no that is not good for a turbo

Dont Celicas (the new spaceship looking generation) have returnless setups? In fact I am almost sure that they do...
