how to hook up charge piping

Default how to hook up charge piping

i have my charge piping and a freind who will weld it. i just have no idea on how to hook it up to this crap



what have other people done?

You need the flanges for that.

i think the cheapest route for that would be an exhaust flange of that size or even just a bit bigger. if the holes don't align perfectly you could dril other holes. don't forget to put a gasket in between the flange and the turbo.

thats what i was assuming, do you think ill be able to find a close enough match?

yeah, the stock exhaust flange on my car, 99'civic si has that same 3 bolt pattern. except mine is 2 1/2". i'm looking at the jc whitney catalog which is where i got my exhaust flange and they have a flange that will fit your turbo if the compressor outlet is 2".

you could just grind that ---- off to make it a regular circle and connect it with a coupler.

^^^^^very, very, good idea. and you'd have less of a chance of it leaking with a coupler vs. a flange.
