How do you turn the boost down on a Internal wastegate???
Hey guys, I was just wondering how you would turn down the boost on a internal wastgate set up. My girls internal wastegate set up is set at 7lb some of the guys on here said it should be fine but it might be a little safer if i turn it down but i dont know how. So how would i go about doing that
Thanks......

You really can't... I think if you can lengthen the arm a little, the boost might come down a little.
Your best bet is to get a lower wastegate actuator off ebay or something and swap them out. Control the boost at that PSI and above with a boost controller.

If the wastegate acutator is non-adjustable, and if the bracket for the actuator is mounted on the backing plate of the compressor, you can just place washers between the bracket and the compressor to lower the boost. In essense, just bringing the bracket closer to the swingvalve will lessen the pressure on the internal spring. Thus lowering your lowest available pressure.
The problem with lengthening the arm or shimming it is tha lag can be greatly increased with ever the slightest adjustment.
I'd say run 7psi or get a new wastegate.
