How to clean turbo coolant passage, it's corroded
Ok i just got my correct turbo and i looked inside the coolant in/out passages in the turbo, it looks like kinda corroded and rusted a bit... how do i clean this ---- out before using it? Do i use that draino ---- that you use for sinks and stuff??

Or spray some oil in it. Maybe some WD-40.

dr. shouldn't i take out all the messed up ---- before i oil.. cuz it'll flow into the coolant system and might clog up ---- right? so CLR is the key? how about those DRAINO crap? what's the best?
so again, other than oil, how about if i fill it up with coolant, would this help prevent corrosion since when i put it on the car, it'll always have coolant inside

Yeah, that's what I meant, after you cleaned it. I don't know about drainO. CLR would be faster and probably better IMO. DrainO takes a long time to take action. You would have to soak it for a long time.
Yes, coolant will prevent corosion.
